The topography of the tracts vary depending on the tract. A small creek borders some of the tracts where beavers have made intermittent dams that form large pools. Hardwoods and mountain laurel are prevalent in these areas. On some of the currently released tracts you could drive right onto the property with a little bush hogging or light clearing to get to that perfect area to set up your homestead, cabin, or recreational vehicle. There is currently heavy undergrowth (briars, overgrown grasses, bushes, samplings, etc.) to secondary wood growth in the flat to gentle rolling front portion of most of the tracts. Some of the flat to gentle rolling extends approximately ¾ into the tract. These areas could easily turned back to pasture/garden space with bush hogging or left for a natural space secluding you from the outside world. The tracts drop off in the very back and have views of adjacent ridges and valleys. The tracts are accessed off a combination of county maintained gravel roads (Coalhill Road and Davis Road) and gravel access roads (Goose Creek Road). I have driven these roads in a two wheel drive vehicle.
